Wonderful events

I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything here but I thought I would take a few moments and bring you up to date on my life.

First of all, Gordon and I are doing great. He is the best friend I have always wanted. We share everything. Lately our lives have had some major uproots.

I started working part time at a Elderly Care Facility and then was hired at Longs Drugs part time. Sunday, 2 weeks ago, our assistant Pastor Josh told me about a full time position at the place where he works. I asked him to see if there was any openings. Monday night at my E. C. F. job, I got a phone call from Josh and he told me that he talked to his supervisor and was told to have me there the next morning for training class.

My hours of work are horrible. I work from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm until the 19 of November. Then my hours will change and so will my days. I will be working 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday, off Friday, work Saturday and off on Sunday. In addition to this, I am still attending online College to get my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and Management with a special focus on Human Resources. That alone takes 21 hours of studying and homework per week, plus my commute time of 1 hour BOTH WAYS and then working for the 8 hours, coming home, cooking dinner (even though someone else is home before me but we won't name names), cleaning the kitchen up and finally relaxing for 1/2 hour before it's time to take a shower and go to bed. Now realize that I am a 45 year old woman!

I am trying to figure out when I am going to get time to spend with my Darling Gordon. I know now and have known for a while that he IS the man that God wants me to be with. I just hope that Gordon will figure that out too. He's been single for over 10 years and of course has dated but no other woman has ever been asked to "Move In" as his Mom has told me. All I know is that I do love him with all my heart and soul. He is my everything.

On a lighter note: I was in my training class the other day and of course we have to have our phones in either silent mode or shut off. I had mine in silent mode and missed a call from my Beloved Daughter and Grand kids however, Brooklyn left "Ga-ga" a message: "I you you" meaning "I love you". She told me "Hi Ga-ga, I you you!" and I cried. I turned around and told the class that I had something to share with them. I told them about the call and everyone was all in awe.

Between Gordon and I, we have 7 beautiful Grandchildren. We do not get to see them as often as we would like but our Children do have their own lives and we understand that.

Gordon and I went to Nevada on vacation last month and had a wonderful time. We took the toy hauler, my quad and his sand rail out to Lovelock and went on a 180 mile ride in the sand rail. We took my quad and his sand rail out on another long ride along with several others in our group. It was so much fun...until!!!

One morning our group was waking up and having coffee when one of the guys said that there was a rattlesnake. I went over there and was looking at it. One of our friends, Don, got his gun and shot it (took him several shots but he finally killed the dang thing). I had told the guys that if we found and killed a decent size rattlesnake that I would cook it up for them to try. This one was way to thin but long but I told them it was too small.

Anyway, I left and went for a ride on my quad. Atti (my chihuahua) aka Puppy Pie was back at the camp site with the group when I rode up. I had to head up to the toy hauler to get something cold to drink and Atti was on the leash. I was walking up to the toy hauler when I noticed a coiled up HUGE rattlesnake by the step. I was so scared because Atti was right there. I called her and she came to me and then I kind of screamed a little and then Danny one of our other friends came running up out of no where and grabbed the dang thing by the head and flung it.

The stupid snake had it's mouth open and I was so scared that I didn't notice that it wasn't moving or shaking it's rattles. Well needless to say...I was the butt of the joke. Oh my gosh, I should have kicked all of the butts! I wasn't scared for me but for Atti because she's a "City Girl don't ya know" and doesn't know to stay away from snakes. Anyway, they all had a great laugh at my expense so I have to come up with something really really good for them next year. I'll have to think of something that's believable though. Some help here!

Anyway, I need to close and get ready to leave for work but I just wanted to bring you up to speed.

With Love,

Mom aka Ga-ga
